Celebrating the Rich Traditions of Mithila in the United Kingdom
The Mithila Cultural Society UK is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) that serves the Maithil community from India and Nepal, now living across the United Kingdom. Rooted in the ancient traditions of the Mithila region, we are committed to preserving and promoting its unique cultural identity, including the Maithili language, the world-renowned Madhubani art, and centuries-old practices in literature, music, and philosophy.
Our goal is to organise cultural, educational, and charitable initiatives that celebrate Maithili heritage, promote social integration, and support community well-being. We also collaborate with UK local councils and national bodies to contribute to wider philanthropic efforts.
