Holi Milan 2025 – A Festival of Colors, Culture & Connection

Holi Milan 2025, hosted by Mithila Cultural Society UK, was a spectacular celebration of joy, color, and cultural pride — bringing together families, friends, and the entire Maithil community under one vibrant sky.

“होलिक रंग में मिथिला के संग” — this year’s Holi wasn’t just about colors, but about connection. From the youngest children to the eldest elders, everyone came together to rejoice in the true spirit of Phagua, the Maithili Holi.

The event featured:

🎨 Traditional Holi Songs & Dances — including “Phagua Geet”, Jat-Jatin, and Maithili folk rhythms that brought the stage — and the crowd — to life.

🌿 Tilak, Gujhiya, and Gulal — community members exchanged blessings with vibrant colors, sweet treats, and smiles.

🎤 Live Performances — including poetry, comedy, and group dance performances by community youth and elders, echoing the joy of Mithila.

👪 Family Activities — with rangoli stations, face painting, and cultural games that made the festival inclusive and interactive for all ages.

“मिथिला के रंग, अपनपनक संग।”

The spirit of togetherness, the sound of dholak, the aroma of home-cooked mithai, and the sight of colorful sarees and kurtas made Holi Milan 2025 an event to remember — not just as a celebration, but as a reflection of who we are.
